Poem by Tory and Ellen

CAMP KIRK

GROWTH
tall trees reaching for the sky
children reaching for ropes so high

ADVENTURE
winds across the pond have blown
to find children with potential unknown

ACCEPTANCE
pine needles fall to the earth like a rug
children and staff who are quick to hug

NURTURING
a place that is home to animals and birds
a place that says family without any words

COOPERATION
a place where the stars seem to go on forever
a place where there's joy in working together

LOVE
a place without stress, a place that is daring
a place that's enduring of hope and of caring.
